Nippes-Solingen is a traditional family owned and operated Solingen cutler producing a broad variety of excellent quality implements for tending to fingernails, toe nails, and cuticles.
These little Nippes 290 nose scissors have a bulbous tip design which will allow you to protect sensitive skin, but also get a close cut. They’ve also got a bit of a hollow grind to the inner blade plane, which makes them have great scissoring action/precision. The Teflon-coated little Henbors are super duper sharp and kind of cool looking and also good at balancing protection/shortness of cut, but they don’t move like these – again and again on base models, the Germans’ efforts with the center screw are better than the Italians’, though not better metallurgically or for grinding skill.
