Compared to plastic or metal combs, wooden combs cause less irritation of the hair follicle muscles and prevents excessive fat release from the sebum glands.
There is a lot of work that goes in to this 100% made by hand German comb, over 20 work-steps actually! The level of polish is remarkable, and the slabs of wood that are used for these combs are large and dry out for several months to ensure the flat form as received stays put.
