Description
I don’t know how this TINY lady is able to get such a hard bar, as this is a cold saponified soap, but nonetheless this extreeeemely small producer of soap and other cosmetics is from the ~rural seaside village of Cassis, France, where the products are made in part from the byproducts of a donkey farm – their own farm donkeys, in fact. There’s donkeys on-site, though no donkey milk in this one.
The fragrance oils come from Grasse, France.
“Victoire de Gaïac” is classic palm based soap with a distinct fragrance of vetiver and fresh pine, made with the cold stir method and obviously cured for an incredibly long and effective time, because the end product bar is as hard as any non-milled cold soap you will ever see.
No UPC or EAN barcodes on the packaging, but unfold it and it does have story inside! She even mailed this to us without tracking! You’re just buying a cool story here, for a relatively high cost – need has nothing to do with it.
Made in France.
Against animal testing.
