Well would you look at that, a cold saponified artisanal soap with stearic acid! The softness of a shave with a natural foam from organic vegetable oils such as avocado, coconut, castor. It leaves the skin after shaving pleasant and soft. Fennel, lavender, and geranium essential oils make up the fragrance profile. Enriched with castor oil for soft and shiny hair. You don’t see cold-stirred soaps with complicated formulations like this one very often.
There’s also avocado oil in there, too, and I presume for the skin benefits rather than the scent profile here, which is certainly one for the memory banks! Scents, as described, generally conjure up your personal memories, and for me, this one smells like the memory of walking/hiking around the less beaten path portions of the hopelessly-crowded-until-the-daytrippers-leave island of Capri, in the area where the citrus trees aren’t the dominant scent.
