Description
The Dovo 33004081 has a solid ebony wood handle (53.6×36.5mm) that’s shaped much the same as their resin-handled barrel-shaped siblings, with a ~19x56mm premium synthetic fiber knot made to be the equivalent of silvertip badger.
The fibers are produced in the European Union, the knot is handmade by Dovo (thereafter machine-set to the bore holes on the handle), and the handle’s 100% handmade by Dovo in their Solingen facility.
This knot is spectacular! Best synthetic knot I’ve ever used by a country mile, the first one that doesn’t fling lather all over the shaving area, which to be fair might have been the only authentic demerit remaining universally against the faux badgers, so it is good to see that the constant engineering work in European brush making with the synthetic knots has overcome that one constant. This knot’s physical behavior when loaded up with water and soap’s stunningly good!
