This is a really expensive thing to import to America, so you’re not exactly going to see it on The River of Fakes. Now I know our superfans will just stack a bunch of cold-process/small-make soaps together in boxes, and we’ll barely make a dime here after shipping eats almost everything. But you need to understand, I too am a cold process superfan; irrationally so.
Hell, I’m just hoping to sell you some cold-stir soaps and have enough left over to live the cold process life for free 🙂 Everyone knows you’re not supposed to get high on your own supply, but French cold soaps featuring ssb are gonna have me kneeling at the jump.
“The Bubble Donkey” natural cold saponified shaving soap contains vegetable oils and organic donkey milk (22.3%) from a farm near the Italian border in SE France. This is an aluminum disc a bit over 3″ wide of soap and you get 100g net.
Note that sodium shea butterate, the hallmark of the truly great cold process soaps to me, is batting third!
This soap has parfum and the cedar-and-woodsy scent is wonderful and strong.

Coconut oil comes from Organic Farming and a short circuit allowing correct remuneration for producers.
The olive oil comes from a cooperative of small producers in Greece.
Borage flower macerate is made on the farm, with the flowers we grow.
Shea butter is labeled Organic Agriculture and fair trade certified.
The sunflower, castor and linseed oil are French and come from Organic Farming.
Donkey milk is produced on the farm and certified Organic, respecting animal welfare.
The soda , allowing the saponification reaction, is no longer present in the final product because it has been transformed into soap. It is Ecocert certified and is made in France using an environmentally friendly process.
The white clay is Cosmos approved.
