A new synthetic replacement for the now-deceased 918106, the Dovo 33004311 is a synth shaving brush with appealing aesthetics matched to their Diamant and INOX razors.
The fibers are produced in the European Union, and the knot is handmade by Dovo (and thereafter set by machine in to the bore holes they make on the handle). Dovo makes the handle themselves in their Solingen factory.
This knot’s black fibers, but the fibers themselves feel at the tips much the same as the light colored fiber models they now offer. However, they chose a different knot canopy style with this one, more of a fan that a pointier bulb, with a bigger ratio toward the width side, and likely a slightly deeper setting in to the handle, to compensate for the canopy style chosen here and how it has less intrinsic backbone than a bulbous canopy.
