Featuring their new premium synthetic fiber knot, the Dovo 33004311 is a shaving brush with appealing aesthetics made to match the “corresponding” Diamant, INOX, and Barbarossa models, and a functionality that’s distinctly above the otherwise quite decent performance floor of the flood of from-you-know-where synth brushes all over the you-know-where place that are mostly available for $20 or less (though not with a hand made wood handle!)
I’ve used this knot a few times now in another model sharing the knot with a different handle, and while they still haven’t quite got the stops-flinging-lather-around-the-room thing that plagues synth brushes, it cannot be denied that the lather it makes, the natural feel of the backbone, the softness of the tips combined with the traditional feel of the loaded knot, they’re just extraordinary! Synth brushes sure have come a long, long way these past ~15yrs.

The fibers here are not made by Dovo, but are produced in the European Union. The knot’s handmade by Dovo (and thereafter set by machine in to the bore holes they make on the handle).
